Limited to 1,000 pieces, the Engineer Hydrocarbon AeroGMT II Meteorite features a dial made from Gibeon meteorite, perhaps the most famous in the world. As a natural material, every meteorite dial is unique in design. Its intricate crystalline patterns, known as Widmanstätten patterns, were naturally formed over millions of years.
The timepiece shines with ultimate visibility thanks to micro gas tube luminosity. In complete darkness, time can be easily read in all three time zones. The 24-hour curved rotating bezel integrates micro gas tubes below its sapphire surface for remarkable shine. In harmony with the gas tubes on the dial and hands, time is instantly readable at a glance.
42mm in case size, the AeroGMT II Meteorite is a COSC certified chronometer with exacting precision safeguarded by BALL’s special crown protection system – a plate that covers the crown to shield it from external knocks and to ensure it has been properly tightened. Around the wrist, the BALL’s patented triple folding buckle ensures lasting strength, capable of resisting up to 1,400 newtons of force. Its effortless comfort is heightened by the secure butterfly clasp and 22mm extension system for an ergonomic fit with sportswear.
